ˇmCelestial Languageˇn
Another big
change that came about after Lee, Shih-Pei had succeeded
to the office of medium, was the appearance of "t'ien-yu"
(celestial language).
In a revealed text received in 1983 there was
talk of a "celestial language" that should be used
in interpreting pictures.
|
 |
| |
At the time nobody knew what that language
was. In the last year of Lee Shou-ch'i's iumship another such
message appeared, but still nobody understood it. After Lee Shih-Pei
had started acting as medium, this celestial language finally
started to appear frequently. |
| At first there still was nobody who could understand
it, but then Hsieh, Hua-kuang, who is a former section head in the
library of Taiwan University and had received a Japanese education,
thought it resembled ancient Japanese. He proposed to buy the Japanese
Daijirin dictionary to check the meaning of the characters. And
really, in that way they were able to discover extraordinary messages.
|
|
| The fragmented meanings strung together
made up intelligible revelatory messages. From then on, the interpretation
method used in the Society became more rational and could be carried
out by many different members of the Society. |
